A Tribe for TOMORROW, with an emoji, will help people, deeply concerned about our collective future, to find one another. —

“Our culture,” notes Hagens, “has thousands of emojis on our phones but not one of them to represent the concept of the future.” Then, quoting the Israelite prophet Isaiah, Nate cites the phrase: “They will not make themselves known to you”, thus linking the concepts of TOMORROW (the future) and emoji (an identifying symbol) for members of a social movement, A Tribe for Tomorrow.
Clocking in at just 35 seconds, today’s repost, Nate Hagens’ twelfth Intervention and Wild Idea, is the shortest of his idea-fest brainstorms. As well, although Hagens’ promised us 12 Interventions, today’s will not be his last – there are two more to come.
Below is my transcript of Hagens’ twelfth Intervention and accompanying Wild Idea, titled, of course: “TOMORROW: Twelfth Intervention and Wild Idea”. As usual, I include in this repost an embedded video of Hagens’ almost 3-hour, information-rich talk. He packages his address in 33 myths, featuring a synopsis of key ideas from his past written works and videos.
A list of linked time stamps to the beginning of any numbered myth or to the opening Introduction and closing Interventions and Wild Ideas, is available at the bottom of this repost.

TRANSCRIPT of “TOMORROW: Twelfth Intervention and Wild Idea” (a very short 35-seconds long, starting at the 2:45:57 mark, ending at 2:46:32)
TOMORROW [Twelfth Intervention and (Wild Idea)]
Our culture has thousands of emojis on our phones but not one of them to represent the concept of the future.
Somewhere in the Bible, Isaiah, I believe, is a phrase: “They will not make themselves known to you.”
How many people are out there in our towns, in our cities, in our countryside, that are deeply concerned about our collective future but don’t know what to do or where to go?
The first thing is to create a movement where they can find one another – A tribe for tomorrow.
2:46:32 — End of Twelfth Intervention and Wild Idea
LIST OF THE 33 MYTHS (plus opening introduction and closing Interventions (and Wild Ideas)
Nate notes that the myths themselves are listed in reverse numerical order from #33 down to #1, while the time markers are in chronological order from beginning to end, which facilitates their quick and easy location on the video. The myths can be watched in any order, but the order they’re in made the most sense to Hagens. To go directly to the beginning of any numbered myth or to the opening Introduction and closing Interventions and Wild Ideas, just click on the linked time stamp.
