Although the video embedded below is, in total, about 1 hour 46 minutes long, Naomi Klein’s talk is about 45 minutes, starting at about the 15:53-minute mark and ending at about the 1:01:05 mark.
Klein’s address was sponsored by the UK’s Climate Outreach & Information Network (COIN), an excellent resource that includes communicating climate change as part of its mission statement: “Our work on climate change communication gathers the best research evidence and translates it into practical guides.”
Her talk was delivered at The Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford, October 8, 2014, as part of COIN’s climate conversation series. Naomi Klein was introduced by Vivienne Westwood. Following Naomi’s talk, there was a comment/question/answer session, but unfortunately the sound engineering was not the best and the voices from the audience were barely audible.
The following video was published on October 9, 2014. To repeat, Klein’s talk starts 15:53-minutes into the video and ends at about 1:01:05. Sorry, no transcription.
